More than 50 key members of the GLIMMA team met in Washington DC, USA, on 7 June for our bi-annual two-day strategy meeting.
Now a regular feature in the GLIMMA calendar, the meeting brought together team members from all over the world to debate, discuss and deliberate on key topics.
As well as sharing internal news and best practice learnings, we also invited a number of guest speakers, including 3M, who are all experts in their field. This helps us to stay on top of the latest innovations and build the best brand solutions for our clients.
On this occasion, we heard from the industry leaders in LED technology, SLOAN LED, and Alpolic (part of Mitsubishi) who specialize in metal composite coatings.
High on the agenda in terms of internal news was GLIMMA’s new brand identity that was showcased for the first time. The new brand identity reflects our growth, new position in the market and better represents our Customer Value Proposition as brand management specialists.
Peter Koomen, Managing Director, explains,
“The international nature of our business means that the whole team does not often get the chance to meet face to face. These meetings are so valuable – for information exchange, learning from one another and, most importantly, for providing focus. Every participant feels highly motivated by the lively discussions and learnings – energy that we channel into customer solutions.”
The meeting was attended for the first time by our colleagues in Romania and the next event is due to take place in December.
