GLIMMA has created a strategically important new role within the leadership team and appointed Robert Methorst as Marketing Director.
Robert is a seasoned marketing and sales professional who has gained a strong background in global B2B environments while working for companies like Avery Dennison, Velcro Companies and several smaller marketing driven organizations including his own marketing company.
In his new role, Robert will draw on this experience to work with both clients and the internal commercial organization to deliver best-in-class branding solutions.

With strategic marketing and sales insight, Robert will oversee the team that is responsible for defining, shaping and delivering the global marketing for GLIMMA.
Robert will also be responsible for the development and marketing of the services worldwide. These services include; brand strategy & design, brand audits, brand implementation and brand management. This reflects GLIMMA’s strategic move towards international expansion.
The creation of this new role is also testament to the importance that GLIMMA attaches to global growth and further ‘customer intimacy’.
Starting his career at Avery Dennison, Robert quickly gained a wide range of experience at one of the world’s leading marketing companies Nike who was his key-account within the ‘International Brand Management Systems’ division. This was reinforced when working as an entrepreneur, building further on both his digital and physical commercial skills.

Robert holds a university degree in Creative Communication as well as several marketing and management certificates including a Certificate in Modern Brand Management from the University of East Anglia.
