GLIMMA will be guest speaker at the Communications Summit in Brussels on 30 June 2017. Along with NOKIA’s Head of Brand Strategy, Christine Diamante, we will be providing insights into brand strategy and implementation.
Nokia and GLIMMA were invited to present in light of Nokia’s takeover of Alcatel-Lucent and their evolving brand strategy which has brought them back to the Top 500* Brands Worldwide.
With a 150+ year history, Nokia’s is a story of brand reinvention. A recent part of their history was the takeover of Alcatel-Lucent. The resulting rebrand was managed by GLIMMA, rolling out the NOKIA brand to more than 250 sites across 80+ countries.
With ‘Collaboration’ as the conference theme, we will be demonstrating how we worked collaboratively with both NOKIA and Alcatel-Lucent teams to quickly and efficiently expedite the rebrand.
Gerben Bleijenburg, GLIMMA’s Business Director, oversaw the rebrand program and will be sharing his insights at the conference.
“We have only ever attended the conference before. This year it is a real privilege to be an active contributor and we’re particularly proud to share the platform with Nokia, a valued client with whom we have worked for many years. We’re also looking forward to hearing from other major brands to learn about the communications challenges that they face.”
The Communications Summit is an annual event, hosted by the European Association of Communication Directors. With more than 3,000 members, the event is expected to attract more than 700 senior communication professionals.
