GLIMMA helps Volkswagen to create an innovative and exciting exhibition space at Auto Shanghai in China.
Auto Shanghai in China is the must-attend event for the automotive industry in the Far East, attracting over 800,000 visitors. GLIMMA has helped Volkswagen (VW) to create an innovative exhibition space for the company’s annual Group Night.
GLIMMA has supported VW at this event over a number of years. In close collaboration with their European design agency, we have assisted in the planning of products, materials specifications and the production.
Volkswagen’s Group Night is held every year, just before the opening of the Show. Attended by senior representatives from VW’s most important key partners and customers, VW presents the Group’s latest product line-up.
James Ling, VP of GLIMMA Asia explains,
“Around 2000 square metres of various graphic materials, including fire-retardant fabrics, flags and stickers were called for. Yet the real challenge, like any other major event, lay in the logistics arrangements and meeting the constantly-changing requirements. Through GLIMMA's network in Europe and Asia, we bridged the gap between different time zones to deliver solutions at short notice.”
The work was co-ordinated by our Asia and Germany offices.
